The systemic approach is characterised by its solution- and resource-orientation. Behaviours that are perceived as "hindering" or "disturbing" are seen as symptoms that have a function. These are viewed in an appreciative and neutral way in the counselling process in order to change the perspective and make solutions visible. This enables the client to regain more self-efficacy and discover new possibilities for action. All conversations are, of course, subject to confidentiality. I also work according to the ethical guidelines of the DGSF.
The "systemic view" of the human being is not an "intrapersonal" view, but looks at the relationships in which we all live: Family, partner, circle of friends, work colleagues etc.. In this social structure (system) it is important to discover patterns, roles, values that at times give us the feeling of not being able to act. Therefore, it is important to create "spaces of possibility" and to try out solutions.
The number of sessions depends on your personal needs. In my experience, it often takes only a few sessions to initiate major changes. The sessions usually take place at intervals of 2-3 weeks, but depending on the situation, a tighter schedule may be appropriate. We clarify this in a detailed initial discussion at the beginning of the counselling. You are also welcome to contact us if it is not yet clear exactly what your counselling concerns are. I can usually offer you an appointment for a first meeting within two weeks.
Counselling sessions can take place either in the practice or online. We are happy to discuss what is the most suitable setting for you (hybrid solutions are also possible).
The cost for a session (50 minutes) is 70€ in a single setting, for multi-person settings (couple or family counselling) 90€. Depending on your concerns, a longer appointment can be arranged. Please contact me to arrange a non-binding initial consultation (50€).
"The short-term, solution-oriented counselling with Ms. Jansen was very helpful and enabled me to look at my "blind spots" without fear. I found it very nice that the ongoing counselling results could be presented in a visually comprehensible way and taken home. With Ms. Jansen, I succeeded in getting 100% involved in the process" (K.W.)

"Thanks to the exchange with Ms. Jansen and her suggestions, I found my place and was able to rethink my perspectives. So I was able to find myself step by step, now draw strength from myself and have found my inner balance. We worked out tools so that I can find/keep this balance in the future, even in challenging situations. Through her pleasant and mindful guidance I was also able to look at difficult issues of my past without fear. The visualisations I worked out now support me at home to keep the focus." (B.H.)
"In her positive an open-minded way, Ms. Jansen helped me to find my way out of a difficult personal crisis back to my inner balance. With a variety of methods she supported me in creating my own “toolbox” in order to be well-equipped for demanding situations in the future.
